Drea's Bio

Hi Fabulous pole beauties! A little about "me" to "you"!

As a small town "girlie-girl" from Northern Idaho, I always had a dream of being a dancer, and someday owning my own dance studio. I had no idea that pink tutu I once adored would eventually be worn with fishnet stockings and stiletto heels! My hometown Moscow, Idaho is a true gem for the arts and I was blessed to have been raised by a loving, creative and artistic family (meaning, never a dull moment). From the time I could walk, I was dancing...Jazz, tap, ballet and modern dance. Naturally drawn to the stage and the spotlight, I was also drawn to the lights of the "Big City"! Upon high school graduation, I immersed myself into a foreign exchange program for one year in Prague, The Czech Republic. Not speaking a lick of Czech when I arrived, I found solace in the culture's social tradition of ballroom dancing. In this journey, I truly gained an understanding of dance, as an international language of movement.

Inspired by living abroad, I returned to the U.S. and obtained my Bachelor of Science at the University of Minnesota in International Relations and Communications. Compelled to more lights, I leapt into a fulfilling career in the stock market. It wasn't until I moved to California in 2002, that I realized I had lost my "jazz hands". Thankfully, a close friend introduced me to the world of erotic dance. I was fortunate to study the art of sensual movement with Sheila Kelley. Her strength and inner beauty has been an inspiration to empower women worldwide. I was honored to have instructed at Sheila Kelley's S Factor for five years. It was there that I found my passion for pole dancing. Often referred to as "Monkey", I grew addicted to climbing, flipping, and flying.

Finance by day, and pole dancing by night; I found that pole dancing is where I am truly free and alive. As my pole dancing continued to evolve, it morphed into its 'own' and I began creating and innovating. This is where I discovered my own form of pole dancing artistry. I heard my inner voice, "build it & she will come"!

It has been thanks to the unconditional encouragement & support from the love of my life, David Roers, who has made a little girl's dream come to fruition...The Pole Garage! Together, we have ventured into co-ownership, or as David would say, "our first business is poles & panties!" The Pole Garage embodies everything that I believe pole dancing has brought into my life...a warm, intimate and welcoming community for all women, dedicated to loving and living life to the fullest! There is no judgment or perfection, simply cutting loose and getting a little dirty!

I can't wait to meet you at The Pole Garage!

Much love and respect,

Andrea Frankovich
